Mold Inspections

Mold Inspection and Testing - Integrity One Home Inspections provides two types of mold related services.

1. Sampling - Air and Surface   $95.00 per sample

Air sampling consists of withdrawing a metered amount of air performed in the contaminated areas to determine the amount of mold spors and to help in the assessment of mold growth and the types of mold active in the living areas.The samples are then shipped overnight to PRO-LAB Environmental Testing. An easy to read and follow laboratory analysis report will be taken from the samples. Delivery of the test results can be mailed, faxed, or emailed within 48 to 72 hours, in most cases 48 hours. A minimum of 2 samples must be taken as an outdoor sample is used by the laboratory for comparison purposes. The laboratory report will provide a summary of the following.

                    a. Spore Identification

                    b. Biological Partticles

                    c. Spore Trap Total Count Graph

                    d. Spore Name and Discription

                    e. Report Summary

Surface Sampling

Surface sampling consist of swab, tape, or bulk testing. The samples are collected from the contaminated areas using lift tape, specialized sterilized swabs, and or cutting out portions of the materials. It may also be suggested that surface samples be taken from the air ducts to assure that mold spors havent infested the AC ducts. From there, the samples are sealed in an air tight container and shipped to the laboratory for analysis. The laboratory results are ready for review within 48 hours and can be mailed, faxed, or emailed to all concerned parties.
